Successful Subject Recruitment
Perhaps the most challenging aspect of any clinical trial is the recruitment and retention of study subjects. In order to meet or exceed recruitment, and for accuracy and organization, we concentrate our attention on only a select few studies at one time.
Our successful recruitment strategies include advertising through newspaper, radio and the internet, managing inter-site communication, and networking among healthcare specialists. To facilitate the process, preliminary screening of potential candidates is performed first. Once study requirements are met, certified, professional study coordinators, under the delegation of the Principal Investigator, conduct lengthy informed consent discussions.
Quality Management Systems
Women Under Study has Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) which:
- ensure that client requirements are met as well as conforming to all regulatory reporting agencies
- provide guidance and direction for staff
SOPs are reviewed regularly for continued quality and are updated for compliance annually. All of our SOPs are available for viewing upon request.
We are committed to providing every staff member with ongoing training in order to develop new skills and build upon existing ones throughout their career. Our turnover of clinical staff is remarkably low, and promotes consistency in our projects. We believe that by recruiting and maintaining outstanding professionals, York Clinical Consulting can provide our clients with exceptional service. Additionally, our project tracking system ensures that our clients are always aware of the status of their projects.
